2025 Spring Activities Starting Dates 

Track and Field (Boys and Girls):  Begins Monday, February 23^rd at 4:00 pm in HHS commons. Coach Christina Lindmeier (Girls) and Harvey McMahon (Boys). The parent meeting is February 19th at 6:00 PM in the Theater.  Grades 9-12

Baseball – Begins on Monday, March 16th at 4:00 PM. The location to be determined dependent on weather.  Coach Quinn Irey.  The parent meeting is Tuesday, February 17th at 6:00 PM in the Theater.  Grades 8-12

Softball – Begins on Monday, March 16th at 4:00 PM. The location to be determined dependent on weather. Coach Jen Smart. The parent meeting is TBD. Grades 7-12

Girls Soccer – Begins on Monday, March 16th at 4:00 PM in the SHS Commons or the Sheyenne . Coach Amer Vatres. The parent meeting is Sunday, January 25 at 5:30 PM in the SHS Commons. Grades 7-12

Girls Tennis – Begins on Monday March 30th at 4:00 PM on the HHS Tennis Court, weather dependent.  Coach Zach Zitur. The parent meeting is Monday, February 9th at 7:00 PM in the Library. Grades 7-12

Boys Golf – Begins on Monday, April 6th at 4:00 PM at the Osgood Golf Course in Fargo, weather permitting.  Coach Joel Knudsen. The parent meeting is TBD. Grades 7-12.

**All player participation fees should be paid with credit card on Arbiter at time of registration or with cash/check in the activity office before the first contest of the activity. Registration must be complete with a valid sports physical on file in the registration profile before the start date of the activity. Players will not be permitted to participate without the completed registration and sports physical submitted online. Heritage Middle School Participants

If your student (s) are competing in a 7-12 sport, you will still need to register with Heritage Middle School, not Horace High.

 

 

NDHSAA Physicals For 2025-2026 School Year

Any physical dated after April 15, 2025 is good for the 2025-2026 school year. All athletes will need a new physical on file before they can participate in their athletic activity. Don't wait - get it done today!

Physical Information from NDHSAA:
Prior to participation (including practice) a student participating in NDHSAA sanctioned athletic activities and representing his/her school must have on file with their school, an annual NDHSAA-approved Athletic Pre-Participation Health History Screening and Physical Examination clearance form completed by a qualified health care professional (i.e. Doctor of Medicine of Osteopathy, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant under the supervision of a physician); the Athletic Pre-Participation Health History Screening and Physical Examination is valid for one school year; a physical examination completed before April 15 is not valid for participation the following school year.
